A private tour in Lisbon is shaped around the city's seven hills: the medieval alleys of Alfama, the viewpoints of Graça, the monumental riverside of Belém, and the neighbourhoods most visitors never reach. Because you travel in your own vehicle with your own driver, the day moves at your pace — you decide how long to spend at each viewpoint, where to stop for lunch, and which monuments are worth the queue.
We run three Lisbon itineraries: a private city tour of the historic quarters, a half-day in Belém and Ajuda, and an evening of Fado in Mouraria and Alfama. Any of them can be adapted on the day to suit your interests.
From Lisbon, GuidedLX runs private day trips to Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca, north to the sanctuary of Fátima, along the Silver Coast to Óbidos and Nazaré, and east into the Alentejo to Évora. Longer private journeys continue to Coimbra, Aveiro, Porto and the Algarve, with the same vehicle and driver from the first pickup to the final drop-off.

Yes. Every tour on this page is private: you travel only with your own group and nobody else joins the vehicle. The driver and vehicle are yours for the whole itinerary.
Yes. The itineraries described here are starting points. You decide how long to spend at each stop, add a monument, skip one, or ask your driver to take a route they know well. Changes can be agreed in advance by WhatsApp or on the day.
Pickup is normally at your hotel or apartment in Lisbon, and we also collect from the cruise port. If your tour starts straight after a flight, mention it when you get in touch and we will tell you how it can be arranged.
Tours run for anything from a solo traveller to a group. The fleet includes sedans for up to three passengers, an SUV for up to four, a van for seven to eight, and an executive minivan for up to seven. Tell us your group size and we will confirm which vehicle suits the itinerary.
Yes. GuidedLX covers private day trips across Portugal — Sintra, Cascais, Fátima, Óbidos, Nazaré, Évora and Alcobaça — as well as longer private journeys to Coimbra, Aveiro, Porto, the Algarve and Seville.
